Cappella werd in 1975 als „The Cappella-Project“ opgericht en bestond tot dat tijdperk uitsluitend uit liedjesschrijvers, welke Songs voor andere Groepen schreven. Cappella was het idee van Gianfranco Bortolotti, die in 1987 het Media-Team samenriep en de Track „Bauhaus/Push The Beat“ creëerde.
